I BELIEVE THAT GOD'S INSTRUCTIONS TO US (in the Bible) INCLUDE TO CARE FOR THE PLANET, ALL THE ANIMALS AND FOR ALL PEOPLES SO CAN YOU COME AND HELP US DRAW UP PLANS AND IDEAS TO ENABLE THIS TO BECOME OUR POLICY. Are you wanting a political party that is worth believing in that understands, cares and believes in representing the local people and not being dictated to by political party hacks. If so I we are your people for the Newcastle and Hunter area. It is our hope that we can assist you if you have issues that need to be dealt with and you are finding your way difficult through our local paid political members of parliament or council.
SO WHO ARE WE ANYWAY
The members of the Christian Democratic Party are normal people just like you who love life and come from a wide variety of life experiences and we bring these experiences to develop balanced public policies to improve situations for all in our community. It is true that we all choose to be Christian and believe that God is important to our lives and yet we do not wish to impose God upon you, though we believe that for you to choose to follow God would be wise. We believe in choice for life. We do know that we will not always get it right and with your help we will be able to improve on our political policies. It is my personal prayer to extend grace to all in the community, so come to our meetings to help us discover the way through the political maze of life. YOU WILL BE MOST WELCOMED

The next meeting of the Newcastle Wallsend and Charlestown Branch of the CDP is on Sunday the 13th April 2008 is at Islington Baptist Church. Come and join us at 1:30 pm. This will be a polcy discussion meeting meeting. Some of the issues will be: will we be involved in local government elections?; a draft of the re-vamped immigration policy; my visit to the WA CDP and the discussions had there. oooooooooooooooooo
